El Teide
3718 meters, the highest mountain in Spain and one of the highest volcanoes in the world.To reach it you can use the bus. Take bus number 108 at 8:25 from Intercambiador of Santa Cruz to "La Orotava" At 9:40 from "La Orotava" take bus 348 to "Parador - Teide" (Needs Booking at TITSA web page 48 hours before). The return is at 16:00 from "El Parador - Teide"
Garachico
Garachico is a municipality and town on the northern coast of Tenerife, about 52 km West of the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 50 km. The May 5, 1706 eruption originating from the northwest rift zone was a major event in the town's history. Prior to then, Garachico was an important port exporting Malmsey Wine and other local produce. However, a several-week-long eruption poured lava into the old bay and effectively destroyed the town's livelihood.
Puerto de la Cruz
Beaches, waves and sun! In one word: holidays. It is where the tourism began in Tenerife, in the 1950s , nevertheless, the first hotel was built in the late 19th century. It is located on the north coast, 30 km west of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
To get to Puerto de la Cruz from Santa Cruz you can take the Bus 102 or 103 from "Intecambiador".

San Cristóbal de la Laguna
The Canaries you do not expect. In an unexpectedly cool and moist environment due to particular currents that descend from over 3700 meters of the Teide volcano, it opens a city of more than 140,000 inhabitants with an historical valuable and of great historical value center. With its typical houses, with its picturesque pedestrian streets and especially with its bars and restaurants that fill the streets with tables full of people and full of life. If you visit Tenerife do not miss San Cristobal de la Laguna.
El Drago de Icod de los vinos
Is located in the municipality of Icod de los Vinos, is a huge specimen of dragon (Dracaena draco). El Drago milenario is 18 meters hight, with a perimeter of 20 meters, it is really enormous. It has been declared a national monument.
El Médano
The preferred destination for surfers and windsurfers. Old fishing port, the town still mantains some traits of it, that offer to a place that is already one of the most frequented by tourists, a romantic touch that distinguishes it. Apart the aforementioned windsurfing, you can practice Kitesurfing and Surfing or take excursions on mountain-bike. But the best of Médano are its beaches, from La Tejita, to La Pelada, passing from the beach of the Village, with the many terraces where to cool off with a fresh beer.
La Orotava
One of the more beautiful towns in Tenerife. The historic center of La Orotava was declared "Conjunto histórico" in 1976 and is included in the Inventory of the European Cultural Heritage Protection and Monumental.
Playa de las Americas
It is a purpose-built holiday resort in the southern and southern-west part of the Municipality of Arona. Here you find some famous beaches of Tenerife like Playa de las vistas, Playa de Troya or El Camisón.
Taganana
It 'a beautiful village on the northeast coast of the island.
If you go to visit it, take advantage of the trip to go to the beach of Benijo, one of the most appreciated of Tenerife.
Masca
is a small mountain village on the island of Tenerife. The village is home to around 90 inhabitants. The village lies at an altitude of 650 m in the Macizo de Teno mountains, which extend up to the northwestern most point of Tenerife.
Forests including cypresses and palm trees abound. The village lies at the head of the Masca Gorge. The trail from the village down the gorge to the beach on the Atlantic Ocean is a popular, though strenuous, hiking route, which takes about 3 hours each way.
